Tom Collins’ upcoming single, Care In The World, really delves down, in such a heart-rending and powerful manner, into a world many can unfortunately relate to. Accompanied by an acoustic guitar, and some strings heard delicately layered later into the song, it really allows the listener to enter the world Tom is portraying throughout the track and take in every word being sung, dealing with themes of drugs, alcohol, violence, poverty, and family trouble. 

The song is sung with such an engaging tone that builds on the vulnerability of the track and augments the hope and desperation for a better world which reaches its peak during the second half of the song. In addition, the acoustic guitar is played with an airy and dainty quality which, when accompanied by the light and vibrant strings, adds to the overall tone of the song, balancing the struggle of the situation and the hopefulness of looking forward, longing for things to get better. 

Overall, this is a song that can stop you in your tracks and submerge you sympathetically into Tom’s life with an overwhelming sense of melancholic yearning.
