Formed by North West scene veterans Trip Ryan (Astrud) alongside his brother Dez and Wiff Smith (both formerly of Frog), Wilderspool bypasses rigid style boxes to deliver a masterclass in atmospheric songwriting. The album shifts effortlessly through mood and tone, anchored by Trip’s guitars, Wiff’s production and keys, and Dez’s driving drum work.
