If 2023 was a year of significant growth for Swim School, 2024 is shaping up to be a year of soaring heights. As BBC Radio 1’s Next Wave put it, Swim School is “Making emphatic, anthem records” that have captured the attention of the music scene.

“We spent less time at home in Edinburgh last year than ever,” says Alice Johnson, the charismatic frontwoman of the three-piece. “We toured Europe, played numerous UK shows, and had experiences we never dreamed of. It was challenging at times, but we learned a lot about ourselves and embraced new opportunities.”

Key Achievements of 2023:

• Released their sophomore EP, Duality.
• Toured with Inhaler, Grandson, Pixies, Lovejoy, and Amazons.
• Featured on the EA FC soundtrack with their track “BORED.”
• Garnered a Radio 1 Track of the Week.
• Made their festival main stage debuts at TRNSMT and YNOT.

2024: Taking Flight
So far in 2024, Swim School has continued their upward trajectory. They released the mixtape EP Seeing it Now and embarked on their first UK headline tour, selling out all 11 dates. For many bands, this would be the pinnacle of their career, but for Swim School, it’s just the beginning.
